Bis(4-glycidoxyphenyl) disulfide (SP-3-65-004) is an advanced epoxy building block specifically designed to introduce dynamic properties into thermoset networks, enabling recyclability, reprocessability, and repairability.

Thanks to its disulfide-containing structure, it enables dynamic covalent exchange reactions (disulfide metathesis), which are at the heart of vitrimer chemistry. Unlike traditional approaches that rely mainly on dynamic hardeners, this R&D product allows to impart reversibility directly within the epoxy backbone, opening new pathways for designing next-generation Covalent Adaptable Networks (CAN).

Moreover, its rigid aromatic backbone provides enhanced thermo-mechanical properties, ensuring high performance is maintained while integrating dynamic behavior.

This product is available in 5 g, 10 g, and 25 g batches for R&D purposes, with larger quantities available upon request.
