D4-tetra(ethyl(triethoxysilane))

SP-8P-2-006 is a cyclotetrasiloxane (also called D4-tetra(ethyl(triethoxysilane)) functionalized with 4 triethoxysilane groups. This cyclic siloxane-based building block is of high interest in the design and conception of sol-gel materials with specific morphologies 

The hydrophobic property of SP-8P-2-006 could provide microporous dielectric films with strong mechanical properties and low value of dielectric constant. [1]  

The polycondensation of SP-8P-2-006, as precursor, catalyzed by hydroxide anion inside the catanionic vesicles membrane could create a hybrid silica-silicone network and form hollow silica-silicone nanocapsules. [2] 

Also, SP-8P-2-006 is used in a printing apparatus as a key crosslinked precursor in the development of anti-stick layer. [3] 

SP-8P-2-006 is sold in batches of 5 g, 10 g and 25 g and its TDS is downloadable on our website.
