Research Engineer
Fiona obtained her engineer degree in polymer engineering and formulation in 2016 at the “école nationale supérieure de chimie, de biologie et de physique” (ENSCBP) of Bordeaux. In addition, she achieved her PhD at the LCPO laboratory (Bordeaux University) on bio based polyhydroxyurethanes synthesis through reactive extrusion towards application to materials with specific features in 2019. She acquired a strong expertise in project management and in particular in polymer applications and thermomechanical characterizations of composite materials. Fiona joined the company in 2021 and focuses her research on the environmental and materials activities. She is working on several industrial as well as collaborative projects.
Main Research Areas: Organic chemistry, step polymerization, extrusion and compounding processes, moulding and thermomechanical characterization of materials, formulations, biobased and biodegradable polymers.
