Research Engineer
Mathéo studied biomolecular chemistry and biomolecule engineering, receiving his master’s degree in 2013 and his Ph.D in medicinal and organic chemistry from the University of Montpellier. After two post-doctoral positions in Professor Dalla’s (University of le Havre) and in Professor Winssinger’s (University of Geneva) laboratories, he joined SPECIFIC POLYMERS in 2020. As organic and bio-organic chemist, Mathéo brings his extensive knowledge and experience in total and multi-step synthesis and is an active member of our R&D product research team. In addition, Mathéo is highly involved in collaborative projects in which he leads R&D activity working towards biomedical and environmental applications of innovative (macro) molecules.
Main Research Areas: Organic chemistry, multi-step and total synthesis, transition metal catalysis, heterocyclic synthesis, peptide and peptidomimetic synthesis, solid phase synthesis.
