SPECIFIC POLYMERS is a design office dedicated to functional monomers, polymers and materials with high specificity. As an R&D service provider, we design and develop innovative R&D products. Moreover, our expertise in organic polymer materials research is a major asset in validating proofs of concept with academic or industrial partners.
Our strong organic chemistry skills enable us to design our own innovative monomers and building blocks.
We have the knowledge to master polymer architecture, composition and functionality.
We develop industrially viable build-to-specification materials and coating formulations.
Our team achieve in-depth physico-chemical characterizations of all our products.
We are ready and able to address our customers’ needs and challenges, in all areas of chemistry, but our main research areas are in the following fields. The breadth of our knowledge and skills is an asset for finding sustainable solutions and proposing cross-fertilization-based breakthrough innovation.
SPECIFIC POLYMERS owns a 600m² building mainly dedicated to R&D activities and divided into three laboratories. These laboratories are equipped with high-tech equipment including (i) organic chemistry and polymer synthesis devices (ii) formulation, processing and curing equipment and (iii) physico-chemical analysis apparatus. Most importantly, these facilities are essential from the conception to the validation of your challenging projects. Just as our labs provide crucial support, our knowledge of organic polymer materials research helps you at each step of your research.
The lab where we design our functional monomers, polymers and building blocks from gram to kilogram.
This lab helps at all stages of your project, from the conception of the formulation to the final materials and coatings, including the processing and curing steps.
