SP-1P-0-005 is a Poly(ethylene glycol), α,ω-bis(carboxylic acid). PEG polymers are well-known polymers in the biomedical field since it provides biocompatibility and stealthiness. For instance, PEG derivatives have been used as biocompatible drug carriers or as nanoparticles coatings in nanomedicine. Thanks to its telechelic carboxylic acid functions, SP-1P-0-005 polymers has been used as polymeric building-block to design multi-block copolymers[1], to functionalize and to stabilize various kinds of nanoparticles [2], to conjugate specific drugs (such as Lupinavir (LPV) for instance) [3] or as a crosslinker in the synthesis of thermoset or hydrogel materials.[4]
